Exciting kids and equipping parents to follow Jesus together.
At Grove Kids, we excite kids and equip parents to follow Jesus together. We do this by providing a safe space every Sunday from birth through 6th grade for your child to learn about God and grow in their faith.
Sundays at 9 AM and 10:30 AM
*Confirmation (6th grade) at 10:30 AM
One Big Sunday
The first Sunday of every month, we celebrate as one big family. This includes kids, communion, and community. In lieu of normal Kids programming, we invite all kids, ages 4 and up, to join us for worship. Childcare for 3 and under will be provided on these Sundays. The morning’s service includes Holy Communion, and right after the service, we will have fun and food.
In our nursery and preschool rooms, we ensure that your child is well-loved and taken care-of while you worship. GroveKids volunteers are all background-checked and specially-trained to care best for your little one. Through our secure check-in system, volunteers have access to parents’ contact information so that during the service, they may reach out if mom or dad is needed. Our tiniest kiddos receive basic love and care while our preschoolers enjoy a lesson and craft especially designed for their little brains and bodies.
Bigs (Kindergarten through 5th grade)
Our elementary classrooms are alive with real learning about who God is and how God acts in our lives. Through age-appropriate curriculum, kids learn about God’s unconditional love and its application in their daily lives. We worship, sing songs, and learn Scripture together every Sunday in hopes that your child’s experience carries over to meaningful conversation at home.
Confirmation (6th Grade)
Sixth grade is an important year at the Grove. Six graders are invited to participate in Confirmation, an intentional spiritual formation experience that takes 6th graders through the history, practices, and beliefs of the Christian faith from a United Methodist perspective.
After a year of formation, our 6th graders are given the opportunity to personally respond to Jesus’ call to live as a disciple. The year culminates with the sixth graders who have chosen to be confirmed profess their faith and are confirmed into the Christian faith and the United Methodist Church.
Confirmation meets at 10:30 AM on Sundays.
