We believe that growth happens best in community. Our classes, groups, and studies for adults of all ages and stages are a great way to connect and get involved. We hope you will take the next step here at The Grove by joining us for one or more of the following adult ministry activities.
A New Day with Allie
Mon. - Fri. | 7am | Instagram Live
I am creating something new. There it is! Do you see it? I have put roads in deserts, streams in thirsty lands. -Isaiah 43:19
Post-Easter, the church leaves the traditional season of Lent and enters a new 40-day season called Eastertide. During Eastertide, we celebrate new things-- new life, new movements, new birth.
This might seem counter to our current circumstances, but eventually, we will open our doors and get into our cars and drive to work and we will, in fact, start a new thing.
Let’s prepare for that time together - what do you want your life to look like when that happens? What should you be focusing on now?
Join Allie live on Instagram @grovechurchdallas at 7 a.m. Monday-Friday for short devotionals on this topic. If you miss the live broadcast, the videos will stay available on Instagram for 24 hours (just click on the little circle with the play button).
How to Read the Bible:
Through the Lens of Exodus
Wednesdays, 8 p.m. | Weekly Bible Study on Zoom
God promises his word will not return void. When we read our Bible, God speaks to us through Scripture. But reading the Bible isn’t always as easy as it sounds. Scripture is layered with metaphors, historical references, and language that we often don’t understand.
Join Rev. Allie Shulman as she walks us through the book of Exodus, revealing the story of how God allows us to walk through the wilderness to ultimately draw us closer to him.
Whether you are a Bible expert looking for a new perspective or have never opened a Bible on your own, this weekly Bible study will help you learn how to read scripture and draw out deeper meaning that is applicable to your life. Mark your calendars for Wednesday, April 22 at 8pm.
(Due to COVID-19, our groups are meeting online via Zoom.)
Grove Groups are the best way to get connected to others in our church community. These groups meet in homes, restaurants, and coffee shops with a desire to grow in their faith and in their life. Some groups are formed based on similar life stages while others are filled with people who share similar schedules or interests. Each session is generally an eight-to-twelve week commitment, although some groups choose to meet year-around.
Our groups run on a semester-basis, launching in September and January.
If you are interested in joining a group, please email Sunny Logsdon.
Thursdays | 8:30 pm | Instagram Live
Ever tried to read the Bible and got stuck? Ever struggled to make sense of stories about burning bushes or talking donkeys (yes, they do exist in the Bible)? Every Thursday on Instagram Live, Stephen and Allie will walk through some of the more obscure and confusing Bible stories. For the next few months, we'll be breaking down the story of Exodus to help you get more out of our sermon series on Exodus. Grab your favorite beverage and join us for Bible Breakdown.
